Sailing and Kayaking Adventure
ONE NIGHT OF BLISS & A DAY ON THE BAY
One Night of Bliss: Join us for a two day/one night Penobscot Bay experience. This features a day of kayaking followed by a sailing trip on Dragonfly, a cozy 36 foot sailing catamaran. Enjoy paddling in Rockland’s beautiful, protected harbor. Later, dine sumptuously on Dragonfly’s deck while watching one of Maine’s uniquely spectacular sunsets from an intriguing and peaceful cove. Spend the second day relaxing on deck while we navigate through picturesque waterways. For those hardy souls who want to get up close and personal with the Maine's watery environment snorkle gear is available. After a hardy lunch we wend our way back through Rockland Harbor and disembark by four o'clock.
This experience is offered weekly starting the third week in May and ending right after Columbus Day. Call to reserve a date that works for you.
The package includes all equipment, four meals, snacks, and complementary wine before dinner. You are encouraged to call before your trip to determine the menu. Alcohol is allowed in moderation after the kayaking experience. Accommodations include two comfortable staterooms with queen size beds, a full galley and head. There is an open shower on the stern.
The Day on The Bay: experience starts at 9:00 AM with a kayak tour around scenic Rockland Harbor. This is followed by lunch and a relaxing afternoon cruise on the catamaran Dragonfly on the waters of Penobscot Bay.
The cost for the Day on The Bay experience is $120.00/ person with a three person minimum. This does not include overnight accommodations.
One Night of Bliss includes the above plus a night onboard and costs $295.00/ person. There is a minimum of two people and a maximum of four. A 10% discount is offered for reservations of four people.
