![]() Rockland Harbor Tour (2 hours)This is an excellent tour for beginners and those on a tight schedule to get a taste of what sea kayaking is all about. We will start our tour from the Boat Barn of the Landings Restaurant on the Rockland waterfront (near the public landing). From there, we will head out into Rocklands historic harbor, one of Maines largest working harbors and ports for bringing in the famous Maine lobsters. As we paddle by many working lobster boats and tall-masted schooners and follow the shoreline towards Owls Head, we will look for seals and seabirds. As we wind our way back to port, we will enjoy a grand view of the city, the famous Rockland breakwater and lighthouse, and the beautiful Camden Hills beyond. Camden Harbor Tour (2 hours)This tour offers an introduction to sea kayaking and a unique view of one of Maine's most delightful and active harbors. We will leave from the public landing on Eaton Avenue to paddle amongst tall-masted schooners and recreational boats. As we look for seabirds and harbor seals, you will enjoy magnificent views of Penobscot Bay. We will head toward the historic working lighthouse on Curtis Island and paddle around the island if weather permits.
