Rockland Harbor Tour (2 hours)

breakwater.jimdugan-6985This is an excellent tour for beginners and those on a tight schedule to get a taste of what sea kayaking is all about. We will start our tour from Snow Marine Park on the Rockland waterfront (near the public landing). From there, we will head out into Rockland’s historic harbor, one of Maine’s largest working harbors and ports for bringing in the famous Maine lobsters. As we paddle by many working lobster boats and tall-masted schooners and follow the shoreline towards Owls Head, we will look for seals and seabirds. As we wind our way back to port, we will enjoy a grand view of the city, the famous Rockland breakwater and lighthouse, and the beautiful Camden Hills beyond.
